What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high (relative) intensity. When you walk in the door of the gym, a coach is there with a preprogrammed workout of the day (WOD) ready to instruct you on proper and safe movement and to scale or modify anything necessary. We warm you up, teach you the movements, and then you get to do the work. The class and coach will motivate you to work out and build your body’s strength to enable you to do things you never thought possible! Call today: (304 629-9800
“While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.” https://www.crossfit.com/what-is-crossfit

The CrossFit workouts at Crossfit Sozo always vary in intensity and functional movements. In our strategy plan, we never repeat a workout two days in a row. We believe that routine is the enemy in muscle strength. Our functional movements are safe, natural, and can be applied to your everyday life. Intensity will always depend on the trainee, but we believe stepping up your workouts is the only real way to make physical improvement to your body. CrossFit Kids at Crossfit Sozo
Our goal is for kids of all ages to learn to love keeping their bodies healthy. One aspect of that is working out. At CrossFit Kids, we work to instill a love and desire for kids to use their bodies and teach them proper movement and also fun ways to “play” to ensure a healthier future. Crossfit Sozo specializes in CrossFit training for all ages, and that includes kids and teenagers. Just like our adult CrossFit training, the CrossFit Kids workouts include different workouts each day, full of intense functional movements that are found in everyday life. These movements are things that a normal teen or child would do each and everyday, such as squat, pull, push, throw, run, climb, run, and jump. These movements are done safely in repetition with high intensity. Also in our CrossFit Kids program the functional movements are designed for the kids’ ages. Our goal for the members of CrossFit Kids is to improve general physical health and fitness to get them ready for a safe sports season or everyday life.
